Japan, June 2005 / Day #2: World-famous Tokyo Tower
When I reached Roppongi hills, I didn't really know what to do there. :-) I spotted this huge building that was a hotel and also looked like a place where I could find something to drink. The building proved out to have an observation deck so I decided to spend some 10,000 yen on a ticket.
If there is a landmark in Tokyo, it is the Tokyo Tower, a scale replica of the Eiffel Tower. Now I know I have reached Tokyo. This is what I have waited for the past ten years.
