Japan, June 2005 / Day #7: Kyoto Imperial Palace at sunset
The sun is slowly setting. The colors in this picture are nowhere as beautiful as they really were. I sat there for nearly an hour just watching... When I was about to reach the South end of the Palace area, an old man came across me, smiled and said "konnichi wa". Something very unexpected for a Finn, but still I managed to bow a bit and reply. It felt good. :-) It was almost like I was accepted there.
