Japan, June 2005 / Day #10: Nara, Toodai-ji

Reputedly the biggest wooden building in the world. Just look at that. People standing over there are tiny in front of this 48-meter giant. The original building (and the followers except this) were burnt. The latest revision is about 30% smaller than the original and it houses one of the largest statues of Buddha.
