Norway, August 2012 / Early morning in Finland
After leaving Inari around noon we stopped at Rovaniemi to find a place for the night. As we were having dinner, we got this crazy idea of staying on the road all night. We left Rovaniemi at 9 o'clock in the evening.
As it turned out, coming night was cold. So cold that there was ice on the road. This was not good news for our vehicle with summer tires. This meant our final stretch would take much longer than expected. Tomake the journey even slower, we stopped at a few geocaches along the way to keep us awake.
Early hours provided absolutely stunning scenery.
