Japan, June 2005 / Day #1: Ueno-eki, Yamanote line
I arrived at Narita international airport this morning and asked the
information desk for directions to reach Shinjuku. There were a couple of
options available and because I was not in hurry, I decided to have the
cheapest and the slowest option: Keisei-line to Ueno, and Yamanote line train
to Shinjuku. The train was rather crowded with ordinary people coming and
going. I also got to see places I would consider Tokyonese suburbs.
This place, on the other hand, is kind of deserted. :-) The train just left
without me because I wanted to spend a few seconds to make sure I'm taking the
right train.
